PHILOSOPHY
There are at least three distinct micro-environments on the Holston River Preserve property, including river frontage, meadows and forested zones.
Each homesite has been carefully selected to work in harmony with the natural landscape. Neighboring homes are positioned to maximize the panoramic view of the river, mountaintops and natural flora.
The conservation philosophy and design integrity of the development will be assured through covenants and restrictions. All community areas will be part of an ownership in common covenant among HRP homeowners.
Ownership in common

The heart of the limited development concept of Holston River Preserve includes ownership in common, which means that each homeowner will hold title to their individual residential real estate lot, and, with other homeowners, an undivided interest in the land surrounding all the lots. These shared use areas include walking and hiking trails, open meadows, wildflower meadows, river frontage and woodlands. Because each homeowner has a stake in preserving the entire area, Holston River Preserve will maintain the original character and design guidelines and can be enjoyed for generations for its natural beauty and recreation.
